Malwatte is the food brand of Malwatte Valley Plantations PLC of Colombo, a Sri Lankan grower, manufacturer and exporter of tea, rubber and spices that has exported since 1992. Most of what it packs is grown on its own plantations, over 7,000 hectares in all, and processed in its own factories; it also buys from smallholder farmers nearby. It began growing pepper in 2011 and cardamom in 2012, opened a spice processing factory in 2019, and its factories are ISO 22000 certified. The maker says the International Pepper Community named it Sri Lanka's largest pepper grower in 2016. Here are the Sri Lankan packs, shipped worldwide from Sri Lanka.
