Malwatte Roasted Curry Powder is Sri Lankan roasted curry powder, a dark ground spice blend, packed in a 1kg printed card carton. It comes from Malwatte Valley Plantations, which processes and packs spices in its own factory.
In Sri Lankan kitchens the spices for this blend are dry roasted before grinding, which gives a darker colour and a deeper, toasted flavour than plain curry powder. It is the usual choice for meat and fish curries.
In the pack
- Net weight: 1kg
- Pack: a printed card carton with the green Malwatte panel at the top.
- Label: The carton names it as roasted curry powder in English, Sinhala and Tamil.

In the kitchen
