This Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce is made by MA's Kitchen under its Dad's Garden label. It is a sweet, gently spicy sauce that the makers say they add to just about every savoury dish.
The recipe is short: sugar, vinegar, garlic, salt and chilli, thickened so that it pours smoothly and clings to food. The result is sweet first, with a mild chilli warmth and a tangy finish from the vinegar. It is the classic dipping sauce for spring rolls, and it is just as useful in the kitchen as a base for stir-fry sauces. Keep the 260ml bottle on the table for drizzling over fried snacks, grilled meat, fish cakes or eggs.

How to use
Serve straight from the bottle as a dipping sauce for spring rolls, cutlets, fish cakes and other fried snacks. Drizzle over grilled chicken or fish, or add a splash to a savoury dish just before serving. As a stir-fry base, combine it with a little soy sauce and garlic in the wok, then toss through chicken, prawns or vegetables until glossy.
