Hot Shot Sauce is made by MA's Kitchen under its Dad's Garden label. It is a vinegar-based sauce best known for its hot, spicy hit.
The base of the sauce is chilli in brine, which gives the main flavour and heat, while herbs and spices such as mustard and ginger are blended in to balance the sharpness. That makes it quite different from a sweet hot sauce built on sugar and tomato. A little mango and garlic round out the recipe. It comes in a 260ml bottle and is meant for adding a spicy kick to everyday meals.

- Stabiliser (Xanthan gum INS-415)
Allergens: Mustard.
How to use
Use it a few drops at a time, as the heat is sharp. Shake it over fried rice, kottu, noodles or eggs, add a dash to a curry or soup at the table, or put a small bowl out as a hot dip for fried snacks and grilled meat. Taste as you go and add more for extra heat.
