Mc Currie Cumin Seeds are whole, dried cumin: small, ridged, greyish brown seeds with a warm, earthy flavour that grows nuttier when they are toasted. They are a basic of Sri Lankan and South Asian cooking, used whole in tempering and ground into curry powders.
The dry range is cleaned, graded, ground and packed at the maker's factory in Makumbura, Pannipitiya, with raw materials and finished products tested in its own laboratory. Cumin has a strong taste, so a little goes a long way.
