This Teriyaki Sauce is made by MA's Kitchen under its Dad's Garden label. It makes a glossy, sweet and savoury glaze in the style of the popular Japanese sauce.
Soybean, sesame, onion, garlic and lime give it its savoury, rounded flavour, with a little chilli and ginger for warmth and sugar for the caramelised finish teriyaki is known for. It is ideal for marinating chicken, beef or fish before grilling or pan-frying, and it works as a stir-fry sauce that coats meat and vegetables with a rich, shiny glaze. MA's Kitchen also uses it in fried rice, including a mixed seafood fried rice. The 260ml bottle suits regular home cooking. The sauce contains a small amount of alcohol (1.1%).

How to use
Marinate chicken, beef or fish in the sauce, then grill, pan-fry or bake, brushing on a little more towards the end for a glossy, caramelised finish. For a stir-fry, add the sauce to the wok once the meat and vegetables are cooked and toss until coated. It also works in Fried Rice or Mixed Seafood Fried Rice: stir a few spoonfuls through the rice as it fries.
