A 200 g carton of loose leaf Broken Orange Pekoe (B.O.P) black tea from Mackwoods, grown on a single estate in Sri Lanka and left unblended.
B.O.P is a broken leaf grade. The smaller pieces brew faster than whole leaf and give a bright, coppery, full-bodied cup. A dash of milk goes well with it.

How to brew
Use one level teaspoon (about 2 to 2.5 g) of leaf per cup of freshly boiled water and infuse for 3 to 5 minutes. Milk is optional.
Storage
Store the tea in its pack, closed, somewhere cool and dry, away from strong smells.
Mackwoods was founded in Ceylon in 1841 by Captain William Mackwood and is one of the oldest trading houses in Sri Lanka. Tea has been part of its business from the start.
