Whole white peppercorns from Uva, packed by Malwatte in a 60g glass shaker bottle. The label reads Uva White Peppercorns, All Natural.
White peppercorns come from the same vine as black pepper. The berries stay on the vine longer and have their dark outer skin removed before drying, which leaves a pale corn with a hot, clean and slightly floral flavour. Malwatte Valley Plantations has grown pepper since 2011, and the maker says the International Pepper Community named it Sri Lanka's largest pepper grower in 2016.
