Coriander powder has a mild, warm and slightly citrus flavour. It is one of the base spices of Sri Lankan and South Indian cooking, where it is used in most curries alongside cumin, fennel and chilli, and it also appears in Middle Eastern and North African dishes.

In the kitchen
