Thin flakes of dried cinnamon bark, packed by Malwatte in a 30g glass shaker bottle. Flakes are the small broken pieces of cinnamon quills, so they carry the same warm, sweet aroma in a form that is easy to measure.
Malwatte grows cinnamon on its own estates in Sri Lanka and processes it at its cinnamon factory on the Talduwa division of Vincit Estate. Sri Lankan cinnamon is the thin-barked, delicately flavoured kind often sold as Ceylon cinnamon.
