Baraka Coconut Sugar is a natural sugar made from the sap of the coconut palm, packed in a 250 g pack. It is part of the Baraka range of coconut and black seed products made in Ratmalana, Sri Lanka.
The sap is collected from the cut flower buds of young coconut flower clusters, then boiled and heated until the moisture evaporates and the sugar forms crystals or granules. Nothing is refined out and nothing is added, so the sugar keeps the character of the sap.
