A bilingual dictionary compiled by Nadie Gamage, taking Sinhala headwords and giving their English equivalents. It is published by Godage International Publishers, an established Colombo house issuing books in Sinhala and English.
One point matters before ordering from overseas: this is a Sinhala-language book. The headwords are set in Sinhala script, and the apparatus around them — any front matter, abbreviations or guidance on use — is in Sinhala. To look a word up, you need to be able to read Sinhala script and know roughly where a word falls in Sinhala alphabetical order. It is not a book that can be used from the English side.
That makes it suited to Sinhala speakers who want English equivalents to hand: students working in English-medium subjects, translators, writers and anyone drafting in English from a first language of Sinhala. Learners of Sinhala who have reached the point of reading the script comfortably will also get use from it, though a beginner without the script will not.
Dictionaries of this kind are printed for the domestic Sri Lankan market and are not often stocked outside the island, so buyers abroad are usually ordering from Sri Lanka or not at all.
