This Malwatte jar holds clove powder, a dark reddish brown ground spice made from dried clove buds. Cloves are strong and warm, so a small pinch of the powder is usually enough for a whole dish.
The company has exported Sri Lankan produce since 1992. Most of what it sells comes from its own plantations of over 7,000 hectares, and it is packed in its own factories.

In the kitchen
- Add a pinch to biryani, pilau and meat curries.

Storage
Keep the cap tightly closed and store the jar in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. The range label asks you to use the contents within 60 days of opening.
