In the kitchen
Add the slices straight to soups, stews, curries and slow-cooked sauces, or soak them in warm water for a few minutes before stir-frying. Fried gently in oil until golden, they make a crisp topping for rice, noodles and salads; watch closely, as they brown quickly.

Keep the cap tightly closed and store the jar in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Labels in this range say to use the contents within 60 days of opening.
