Niyama Kahata means something like "real plain tea" in Sinhala, and the name is printed large on the pack. Kahata is the black tea of Sri Lankan homes: strong, dark and usually sweetened, often with jaggery on the side.
This is 100% pure Ceylon black tea in a 200g pouch. Use one level teaspoon for a cup of about 220ml and steep for three to five minutes. It also comes in 400g; see more from Hyson.
