Pandan powder from Malwatte, packed in a flat printed sachet that holds 18g. Pandan, known as rampe in Sri Lanka, is a long green leaf with a sweet, grassy fragrance; ground, it blends straight into batters and sweets with no need to strain.
The powder suits baking, where whole leaf would have to be removed. Malwatte Valley Plantations PLC has exported since 1992 and processes and packs its spices in its own factories, which hold ISO 22000 certification.
