Jaf Tea Peach Orchard is a flavoured black tea built around single-origin Ceylon tea, scented with the sweet, perfumed character of freshly picked peaches. The result is a cup that is fruity without being cloying, and bright without being sharp — something equally at home brewed hot on a winter morning or poured over ice on a warm afternoon.
Jaf Tea is the flagship brand of Jafferjee Brothers, a family business established in Sri Lanka in 1944. Over more than seventy years the company has built its range around a single discipline: sourcing single-origin teas whose flavour reflects the particular climate, soil and altitude of the estate that produced them. To select those teas, JAF TEA's master tasters work through an extraordinary volume of Ceylon lots each week, choosing only the material that meets the house standard. The leaves themselves are handpicked — principally the top two leaves and the tender bud — to ensure the strength and fineness that a flavoured blend demands as its foundation.
Once selected and blended, the tea is packed within days of harvesting in Sri Lanka, a deliberate choice that keeps the leaf as close as possible to the moment it left the garden. The finished bags carry the Ceylon Tea Lion Logo, the certification mark administered by the Sri Lanka Tea Board, which confirms the tea's single-country origin. Jaf Tea is now sold in more than thirty countries, though the packing remains entirely Sri Lankan.
Each box contains twenty envelope tea bags with a net weight of 30g. Every bag is individually sealed in a hermetic foil envelope to protect the aroma and flavour until the moment of opening. To brew, simply steep one bag for three minutes — long enough to develop the peach character fully without bitterness. The tea is equally good served cold; brewing hot and then chilling over ice preserves the fruit note particularly well.
The listing offers the box of twenty bags on its own, or as a pack of six boxes for those who drink it regularly or wish to share it. All options contain the same 30g format and the same hermetically sealed foil bags.
