Mc Currie Cardamom Powder is ground cardamom, the dried seed pods of Elettaria cardamomum, a plant of the ginger family. This listing is the 1kg pack, sized for kitchens and bakers that use cardamom every day.
The powder has a warm, sweet and strongly aromatic flavour with a hint of camphor, so a small pinch goes a long way. It is cleaned, graded, ground and packed at the maker's factory in Makumbura, Pannipitiya, and vacuum packed in a red printed pouch.
