Baraka
Baraka is the herbal and natural products brand of Bio Extracts (Pvt) Ltd, a company of the family-owned Aberdeen Holdings group in Sri Lanka. The range is made at a 20,000 sq ft facility in Ratmalana, south of Colombo, certified to GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 14001 and Fair Choice, with its own laboratory. Black seed (Nigella sativa) runs through the herbal range, alongside virgin coconut oil and Sri Lankan spice oils. Baraka products are registered with Sri Lanka's Ministry of Indigenous Medicine and sold in more than 50 countries. Here they are the Sri Lankan packs, shipped worldwide from Sri Lanka.
Black seed. Pure Black Seed Oil in several bottle sizes, Black Seed Oil capsules, Black Seed Plus capsules, Black Seed Cream and Black Seed Balm.
Herbal capsules and syrup. Ayurvedic formulations, most of them built on black seed oil: Ashwa, Cinnamon Plus, Clear Alcer, Codseas, Diabsol Advanced, Easy Slim, Garlichol, Gastricare, Gotukola Plus, Jointsafe, Karapincha Plus, Karawila, Memo Plus Advanced, Primroz, Rauvolfia Plus, Slimexol, Vinec and Virega Plus, and COFSID herbal syrup. Each page lists the ingredients and the directions printed on the pack; read the label, and ask a doctor first if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or under medical care.
Balms, rubs and creams. The classic Baraka Balm, ActFast roll-on and ActFast sachet, JointEase oil and spray, Super Heal cream and Footkio.
Virgin coconut oil and coconut foods. Cold-pressed virgin coconut oil from fresh coconut kernel, in HDPE bottles, glass jars, single-use sachets and capsules, and flavoured with cinnamon or cardamom. Also coconut flour, coconut sugar and coconut spread.
Essential and pressed oils. 30 ml bottles of Sri Lankan cinnamon bark, cinnamon leaf, clove, cardamom, nutmeg, black pepper, citronella, eucalyptus and neem oil, plus castor oil. For massage and hair: Sandalwood Spa Oil, Peppermint Massage Oil and Hairmenn hair oil.
Cocole skin care. Coconut-based face oil, moisturising face cream, night cream, hand cream, hand balm, foot cream and foot balm.
Soap and honey. 50 g bars of coconut oil, bee honey and olive oil soap, Farm Bee Honey and Wild & Pure Bee Honey.
