Situated along the southeastern coast in the Hambantota district, Kalametiya forms part of the "Ruk" coastal belt — a stretch of lagoons, rocky outcrops, bays, and sandy shores running from Tangalle to Hambantota. Your knowledgeable guide provides commentary throughout, pointing out resident and migratory bird species among the reeds and mangroves during this private, two-hour excursion.
