Board a four-seat Robinson R66 — powered by a Rolls-Royce RR300 turboshaft engine — at Ratmalana and rise above the coastal belt south of Colombo. As the helicopter climbs, the flat plains below gradually fold into the terraced hills and dense forest of the central highlands, offering aerial perspectives of Sri Lanka's landscape that no road journey can match. A chauffeur guide accompanies you throughout this private, two-hour flight.
Your destination is Adam's Peak — known locally as Sri Pada or Samanala Kanda — a sacred summit revered in Buddhist tradition. From altitude you take in the full scale of this iconic silhouette and the surrounding hill country without the long pre-dawn hike. Passengers must be aged ten or older. Meals are not included, so plan accordingly before departure.
