Carloboy Prins von Bloss and his circle of companions navigate childhood in Sri Lanka with mischief and discovery at every turn, often proving more than the adults around them can tolerate. This concluding part of Carl Muller's Burgher trilogy captures the world through a child's eyes—from backyard adventures and bicycle expeditions to moments of curiosity that define the transition to adulthood. A poignant exploration of growing up within the resilient and spirited Burgher community, where children carve out their own path amid the constraints of their elders' indifference.
