Racecourse Shopping Complex

Opened in 2012, this complex occupies the former buildings of the Colombo Racecourse (1893). They are beautiful but the area open to shops remains quite small. A dozen luxury boutiques, a Laksala store and a few restaurants, including a fast food joint, occupy the first floor and the arcades. As far as gifts and objects to bring back from your trip are concerned, it is interesting to cross the street to reach the Lakpahana store which is opposite. One comes there more to walk and admire the architecture of the place.
