Ceylon Supreme is the Hyson range of single-region teas, each named for the district it is grown in. This one is from the low-grown Ruhuna district of the south. Low-grown teas from the south are dark and strong, with a rich, bold flavour.
200g of loose black tea in a printed tin, enough for about 100 cups. Use one teaspoon of leaf for a cup of about 220ml and steep for three to five minutes. The range also covers Dimbula, Nuwara Eliya, Uva and Ruhuna; see all of Hyson.
