Legend High Grown BOPF is a black tea from the Legend range of Bogawantalawa, sold loose in stand-up pouches in two sizes; pick one above.
Legend teas are grown above 4,000 ft and brew a dark reddish cup with a golden hue. The BOPF grade, broken orange pekoe fannings, is made of small leaf particles, so it brews quickly and strongly and takes milk well.

- 200g stand-up pouch of loose leaf black tea
- 400g stand-up pouch of the same tea
- BOPF grade, high grown, pure Ceylon tea
In the cup
Dark red with a golden edge, strong and full. Good plain, with milk, or sweetened.
How to brew
- Use one teaspoon of leaf (about 2.5 g) per cup.
- Pour on freshly boiled water and brew for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Strain, then add milk and sugar to taste.
Serving ideas
Milk tea at breakfast, a plain cup with a slice of lemon, or a strong brew cooled and poured over ice.
