The Wasgamuwa National Park, located in the Matale and Polonnaruwa Districts, is one of Sri Lanka's most prominent wildlife reserves. Known for its diverse flora and fauna, the park offers visitors a chance to see elephants and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Entrance tickets can be purchased online through Lakpura, with physical tickets available upon request. This includes entrance tickets and an English-speaking local Driver tour option.

Experience:
Wasgamuwa National Park is famous for its herds of elephants, as well as a variety of other wildlife such as sloth bears, leopards, and numerous bird species. The park's landscape includes grasslands, forest areas, and riverine habitats, making it an ideal location for a safari. Early morning and late afternoon safaris offer the best wildlife sightings, with cooler temperatures and the opportunity to see animals in their natural surroundings.
Discounts: Citizens of SAARC member countries are eligible for discounted entrance tickets. Please present your passport at the time of purchase to avail of the discount.
Transport: Pick-up and drop-off service is not included in the price but can be arranged for an additional fee.
