About this experience
Udawalawe National Park ligger i tørregionen i det sydlige Sri Lanka og er et af landets mest pålidelige steder til at se store flokke af asiatiske elefanter på åbent græsland. Parken grænser også op til Udawalawe-reservoiret, hvis bredder tiltrækker vandfloder, krokodiller og en række vandfugle, hvilket gør en enkelt tur gennem parken belønnet på tværs af flere forskellige naturtyper.
Safarien løber i tre timer og dækker parkens vigtigste dyreliv-zoner ombord på en 4x4-jeep, som deles med maksimalt fem andre passagerer. Din chauffør er også en erfaren tracker, der læser landskabet og dyrespor for at give de bedste muligheder for meningsfulde dyrelivsmøder. Indgangsbilletter arrangeres gennem Lakpura på forhånd, så der er ingen grund til at stå i kø ved porten ved ankomst.
Gratis afhentning og aflevering ydes til ethvert sted inden for 5 km fra parkporten. For dem, der bor længere væk, er transfers uden for denne radius tilgængelige mod et gebyr.
