About this experience
Le parc national d'Udawalawe se situe dans la zone sèche du sud du Sri Lanka et est l'un des endroits les plus fiables du pays pour observer de grands troupeaux d'éléphants asiatiques en prairie ouverte. Le parc borde également le réservoir d'Udawalawe, dont les rives attirent des buffles d'eau, des crocodiles et une variété d'oiseaux aquatiques, rendant un seul circuit à travers le parc gratifiant sur plusieurs habitats différents.
Le safari dure trois heures, couvrant les principales zones de faune du parc à bord d'un jeep 4x4 partagé avec un maximum de cinq autres passagers. Votre chauffeur est également un pisteur expérimenté, lisant le paysage et les traces animales pour offrir les meilleures chances de rencontres fauniques significatives. Les billets d'entrée sont arrangés par Lakpura à l'avance, il n'est donc pas nécessaire de faire la queue au portail à l'arrivée.
La prise en charge et la dépose gratuite sont fournies pour tout endroit situé dans un rayon de 5 km de la porte du parc. Pour ceux qui séjournent plus loin, les transferts au-delà de ce rayon sont disponibles moyennant des frais supplémentaires.
