About this experience
Sube a tu lancha privada y dirígete a través de las aguas tranquilas y salinas de la laguna de Kalpitiya, una vasta extensión de 126 millas cuadradas que bordea el Parque Nacional Wilpattu en la costa noroeste de Sri Lanka. Durante cuatro horas, te deslizarás junto a salinas, dunas de arena distantes, granjas de camarones y pequeños pueblos de pescadores, mientras bosques abiertos, cocoteros y marismas bordean la orilla. Un naturalista experto te acompañará a bordo con binoculares, señalando la flora, fauna y vida silvestre —especies endémicas y comunes por igual— que habitan la laguna.
Dos de las cuatro horas se dedican a la observación de aves y a explorar de cerca el ecosistema de manglares, con tu naturalista guiándote a través de lo que es fácil pasar por alto sin un ojo entrenado. Se incluyen un desayuno o almuerzo tipo picnic y agua donde corresponda. Esta es una actividad completamente privada, conducida en inglés, con una edad mínima de cinco años.
