About this experience
Su viaje privado de 10 horas desde Negombo comienza con recogida en el hotel en un vehículo con aire acondicionado, acompañado por un guía-chófer de habla inglesa durante todo el día. La primera parada es Lunuganga, la residencia campestre del célebre arquitecto Sir Geoffrey Bawa — un paisaje tranquilamente excéntrico de jardines esculpidos, césped en terrazas y arquitectura colonial situado sobre un lago de canela. Su guía le acompaña por los terrenos, dando vida a la historia y visión de la obra maestra personal de Bawa.
Desde Lunuganga, se dirige al Río Madu para un safari en bote a través de uno de los ecosistemas de manglares más distintivos de Sri Lanka — una red de 64 islas donde puede observar aves, avistar monitores de agua y deslizarse bajo un dosel de raíces entrelazadas. Se proporciona una botella de agua de un litro por persona, y Lakpura se encarga de toda la recogida y entrega en el hotel. Las propinas, comidas y cualquier tarifa de entrada corren por su cuenta.
