Sethsuwa Paspanguwa (30g) is a dried herbal decoction mix in a 30 g sachet, made from eight herbs and spices including coriander, ginger, tree turmeric and pepper. The contents are boiled in water to make a decoction, which is strained and then drunk.

Paspanguwa is the five-herb decoction that Sri Lankan households have brewed for generations, and the boiled drink is called peyawa. The maker based its version on the traditional formula and added three further plants to the usual five. The herbs are washed and dried before packing, and each sachet is measured for one batch, so there is nothing to weigh at home.
