Club Kurumba is a new beach hotel on Sea Street in Negombo, opening on 1 November 2026, on a peninsula overlooking the Indian Ocean and about half an hour from Bandaranaike International Airport.
There are 50 rooms: 45 deluxe rooms of around 28 square metres, most with a sea-view balcony, and a handful of larger ocean-view suites of 52 to 59 square metres with their own balconies. Rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, a minibar, a telephone and tea and coffee making, with open showers.
The hotel is aimed at a younger crowd, with an a la carte restaurant and a bar priced to keep guests dining in, and a 24-hour reception.
