About this experience
Sube a un jeep privado 4WD y dirígete al Parque Nacional Kaudulla en un safari de tres horas dirigido por un conductor-rastreador experimentado. El parque se encuentra dentro del corredor de selva Kaudulla–Minneriya en la región centro-norte de Sri Lanka, cubriendo 6,900 hectáreas de bosque siempre verde seco, pastizales abiertos y tierras de cultivo abandonadas. El Tanque Kaudulla — un embalse antiguo que data del reinado del Rey Mahasena en el siglo III d.C. — atrae manadas de elefantes, especialmente en septiembre cuando la estación seca alcanza su punto máximo. En el camino, observa algunas de las más de 160 especies de aves del parque y 24 mamíferos registrados.
