Montez à bord d'un jeep 4x4 privé et dirigez-vous vers le parc national de Kaudulla pour un safari de trois heures dirigé par un chauffeur-pisteur expérimenté. Le parc se situe dans le corridor de jungle Kaudulla–Minneriya dans la région centre-nord du Sri Lanka, couvrant 6 900 hectares de forêt sempervirente sèche, de prairies ouvertes et de terres de culture abandonnées. Le réservoir de Kaudulla — un ancien réservoir datant du règne du roi Mahasena au 3e siècle après J.-C. — attire des troupeaux d'éléphants, notamment en septembre au pic de la saison sèche. En chemin, observez certaines des plus de 160 espèces d'oiseaux du parc et les 24 mammifères enregistrés.
Votre jeep accueille un maximum de six passagers, et une bouteille d'eau gratuite est fournie par personne. Le ramassage et le dépôt gratuits sont inclus pour tout lieu situé à moins de 5 km de la porte du parc. Notez que les frais d'entrée du parc sont payés séparément en espèces à l'arrivée, et les transferts hôteliers au-delà du rayon de 5 km sont facturés en supplément.
