About this experience
Partiendo desde Kalpitiya en una caminata privada de cinco horas para observar aves a través del Santuario de Anawilundawa — uno de solo seis Humedales RAMSAR en Sri Lanka. Ubicado entre la costa y la línea ferroviaria Chilaw–Puttalam en la Provincia Noroeste, el santuario se encuentra en el punto de confluencia de tres ecosistemas distintos: costa abierta, bosque de manglares y tanques de agua dulce. Esa rara combinación atrae a cientos de especies de aves para anidar y reproducirse aquí durante todo el año, lo que lo convierte en uno de los lugares más gratificantes de la isla para observadores de aves de cualquier nivel.
