Partez de Kalpitiya pour une promenade privée de cinq heures d'observation des oiseaux à travers le sanctuaire d'Anawilundawa — l'un des seules six zones humides RAMSAR du Sri Lanka. Situé entre la côte et la ligne de chemin de fer Chilaw–Puttalam dans la province du Nord-Ouest, le sanctuaire se trouve au point de rencontre de trois écosystèmes distincts : côte ouverte, forêt de mangroves et réservoirs d'eau douce. Votre guide avisé dirige la promenade, pointant les espèces et partageant des informations sur l'habitat des zones humides au fur et à mesure de votre exploration. Le transfert vers et depuis Kalpitiya se fait en véhicule climatisé, et les tickets d'entrée sont inclus dans le prix. Les enfants à partir de cinq ans sont les bienvenus. Les pourboires et la nourriture et les boissons ne sont pas inclus, donc apportez un panier-repas et beaucoup d'eau pour le sentier.
