About this experience
Partiendo de tu hotel en Weligama, tu vehículo privado con aire acondicionado se dirige hacia el norte por la costa durante nueve horas completas de exploración. Tu guía chofer de habla inglesa te lleva primero a Lunuganga, la antigua finca del legendario arquitecto Sir Geoffrey Bawa — un jardín paisajístico único en toda la isla. Desde allí, desciendes a las Minas de Piedra de Luna de Meetiyagoda, donde se extraen las famosas piedras de luna azules de Sri Lanka de la tierra en una tradición centenaria.
La parada final es Balapitiya, donde subes a un bote para un safari por el río Madu — tejiendo a través de canales de manglares y avistando vida silvestre en las vías acuáticas.
