Governor's River Lodge is a quiet riverside retreat in Horana, set among greenery away from the busier coastal and city routes but still within reach of Colombo for a short getaway or a longer stay.
Rooms come in three categories – Standard, Superior and Deluxe – with bed configurations of double, single or triple, so the lodge suits solo travellers, couples and small groups alike. Meal plans are flexible, with Room Only, Bed and Breakfast, Half Board and Full Board options available.
The on-site restaurant serves local and international dishes, and guests can spend time on nature walks, bird watching and river-based activities around the property. Private transfers from Colombo Airport can be arranged, and the lodge has space for private events and gatherings.
