Nadeesh Dikkumbura's book is a creative commentary on contemporary social reality and on the behaviour of individual feeling. Its concern is with what a person carries inside but prefers not to show to the world outside, and the novel speaks about those feelings openly rather than leaving them implied.
It is Dikkumbura's first novel. He has worked as a journalist, and his other writing includes Gas Minissu and Adaraneeya Marx.
