A Sinhala-language workbook for children of preschool age, compiled by Asha Nimanthi to cover the preschool syllabus in full. It is the first of three workbooks in the Gunasena preschool set, prepared for the first term of the year.
The exercises are set out so that there is one for every day of the year. Working through them is intended to build the child's grasp of mathematical concepts and handling skills, and to encourage good attitudes alongside them.
Buyers outside Sri Lanka should note that the book is in Sinhala throughout, including the instructions, so a parent or teacher who reads Sinhala will need to guide the child through it. It is published in Colombo by M. D. Gunasena & Co. (Pvt) Ltd, a house that publishes school and educational titles in Sinhala and English.
