Ceylon Silver Tips, often called white tea, is one of the rarest Ceylon teas. It is entirely handmade and produced in very small quantities, just a few hundred kilos a year, using only the tea bud.
The buds are velvety to the touch and brew a pale liquor tinged with yellow. The flavour is very delicate and subtle, a tea to drink slowly and without milk.
