Ancient Nutra coconut treacle (pol pani in Sinhala) is a thick, dark golden syrup made from the nectar of coconut palm blossoms grown in Sri Lanka. It has a deep caramel flavour and pours much like maple syrup or honey.
In Sri Lanka it is the classic topping for buffalo curd, and it also goes into sweets, puddings and drinks.

How to use
- Drizzle over curd, yoghurt, pancakes, waffles and desserts.
- Stir into milkshakes and smoothies.
- Add a spoonful to marinades, dressings and glazes for savoury dishes.
Storage
Keep the bottle closed between uses, in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
