About this experience
Your private, air-conditioned vehicle picks you up from your hotel and heads south along Sri Lanka's coast for a full ten-hour circuit of the region's standout sights. Watch stilt fishermen balance on their poles above the surf, then step inside a tea factory to see how leaves are withered, rolled, and dried before reaching your cup. A hands-on cooking demonstration introduces you to local spices and techniques, followed by a fresh seafood lunch at a local restaurant — included in your tour.
The afternoon brings you to Galle, where you walk the ramparts of the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, explore its cobbled lanes, and take in colonial-era architecture dating back centuries. Your English-speaking chauffeur guide is on hand throughout to answer questions and keep the day on schedule.
