Discover Ancient Ella by Cycling

Clip on your helmet, mount your mountain bike, and set off from Ella on a four-hour private cycling tour through the highlands. Your first stop is Ravana Falls, near the village of Udunuwara — roughly a half-hour ride along scenic mountain roads. Watch the cascade tumble down the rockface before pressing on to Ravana Cave, perched 1,370 metres above sea level and a further 15 minutes by bike. Lace up tight: around 700 steps lead up to the cave entrance, rewarding the climb with striking views of the surrounding hills. Your English-speaking local guide leads the way throughout, and snacks and refreshments are included to keep you fuelled.

This is a private tour, so the pace and conversation are entirely yours. A mountain bike and helmet are provided; the minimum age for participants is 12. Government taxes and service charges are covered. Meals beyond the included snacks, personal expenses, and gratuities are not part of the package.
