About this experience
Tackle the highest peak in the Kurunegala District — a summit rarely visited by locals and largely unknown to tourists. Ancient stone paths wind through the hillside, past hidden temples and legendary treasure troves, as you make a strenuous ascent to the top. The reward is sweeping countryside views that stretch across the district, best appreciated in the quiet that comes with being somewhere so few people ever reach.
This is a private, 22-hour experience that takes you through the climb and into an overnight stay under open skies. Lakpura arranges your transportation and keeps you stocked with bottled water, with first aid and spares on hand throughout. Children aged five and above are welcome. Gratuities and food and drink are not included, so pack your own meals and snacks for the trail and the camp.
