Salacia chinensis

Salacia chinensis is a large woody climber belonging to the family Celastraceae, found across tropical Asia including Sri Lanka, India, and Southeast Asia. In Sri Lanka it is commonly known as Himbutu in Sinhala, Cuntan in Tamil, and Saptachakra or Ekanayaka Pitika in Sanskrit.
