Head out from your Colombo hotel and travel to Kotigahakanda, a forested rock face that tests your nerve and builds your confidence in equal measure. Your English-speaking guide fits you with a helmet, harness, and climbing shoes before you tackle the routes — so whether you're a first-timer or have scaled walls before, you're in safe hands from the first hold to the final pull. A first-aid kit is on site throughout, and a bottle of water is included to keep you going.
This is a private, five-hour excursion open to participants aged 13 and above. Hotel pickup and drop-off from Colombo is included, so there's nothing to arrange beyond showing up ready to climb. Food and gratuities are not covered, so bring a little extra cash if you'd like to eat on the road or tip your guide.
