Rancrisp Salted Cashew Nuts are a Sri Lankan-made snack of three ingredients — selected cashew nuts, edible vegetable oil, and salt — roasted and seasoned by a company that has been processing cashews since 1981. The result is a straightforward, well-executed product: whole cashews with a clean, savoury finish and the kind of crunch that comes from consistent, practised production.
Rancrisp Cashew, based in Ja Ela on the western coast of Sri Lanka, has spent more than four decades focused almost exclusively on cashew processing. The salted variant sits within a wider range of flavoured lines, but the salted remains the most direct expression of the nut itself — the seasoning is present enough to register without masking the cashew's natural, buttery character. The ingredient panel is short by design, and the 100% Vegetarian certification is printed on every pack.
The pack itself is a resealable zip-lock pouch with a transparent front window, so the nuts are visible before purchase and the bag can be closed again after opening. It is available in a 50g size, which makes it a sensible option for a desk drawer, a travel bag, or a hospitality tray. Nutritional values declared on the packaging are fat 42.8g per 100g, salt 4.04g per 100g, and sugar 5.8g per 100g.
As a product of Sri Lanka, Rancrisp Salted Cashew Nuts are certified 100% Vegetarian and manufactured to ISO 22000 food safety management standards, as stated by the brand. The cashew nut is listed in bold on the ingredient panel as an allergen, in line with standard labelling practice.
