Malwatte Chilli Powder is ground dried red chilli, packed in a 500g printed card carton. It comes from Malwatte Valley Plantations, which processes and packs spices in its own factory.
Made from dried red chillies ground to a fine powder, it brings heat and a deep red colour. Sri Lankan curries often use it alongside curry powder and turmeric.

Storage
