Ceylon black tea named for Dimbula, on the western slopes of the hill country. Dimbula teas are known for a brisk, clean cup, plain or with a little milk.
The 100g tin caddy keeps the leaf dry between pots and carries on as a tea tin once it is empty. Use one teaspoon of leaf for a cup of about 220ml and steep for three to five minutes, adding sugar if you like. For iced tea, double the strength. The same tea comes in a 200g caddy with a clip lid.
